am from Turkey. I was born and raised in a small city in west Turkey, called Uşak. Until I started my college education I lived in Usak. In 2002, I moved to Izmir to start my college education. I studied International Relations in Ege University. In 2007, just after graduating from the college, I have granted government scholarship to study abroad. In August 11, 2008, I arrived the United States of America to start my language education.

After completing language education in Penn State university, I moved University of Illinois at Urbana – Champaign to study master in economics. I completed my master education in 2012.

In August 2012, I moved to Knoxville, TN to start my PhD education at the University of Tennessee. After graduating from the University of Tennessee in August 2017, I moved to Winston-Salem, NC to join Economics Department at Wake Forest University as a Visiting Assistant Professor. In fall 2017 semester, I am currently teaching three sections of Introduction to Economics and a section of Intermediate Microeconomics-I course.

In my free time, I like riding bicycle, watching UT football, playing Turkish musical instrument, going hiking to Smoky Mountain national park, playing tennis and fishing.
